A Weekend of Biking Fun July 27th - 28th, 2019
in Cedarburg, WI
The Wisconsin Bike Festival was started because I found there were, and still are, so many women cyclists who were looking for others to ride with; other individuals or an organized group of women cyclists.
The festival was designed in 2015 to bring women cyclists together under the Wisconsin Women Century ride with a gathering after to celebrate the sport of women cycling. Today, we still do that. The Wisconsin Bike Festival is a 2-day celebration of cycling, hosting (3) non-competitive bike rides that attracts riders from many of the lower-48 states, and several countries.
On the last Saturday in July we hold the Wisconsin Women Century, Wisconsin’s premier women’s cycling event with 5 fully-supported routes of 25 to 105-miles. Also held is Bike4aCause, a family-friendly ride of either 10 or 24-miles supporting a dozen or more local charities. Saturday’s post-ride festivities include a Kid’s Bike Rodeo, live music, vendors, and a beer & wine garden.
On Sunday is the epic Holy Hill Hundo, a co-ed ride through the hills of the northern kettle moraine. The ride includes 65, 85 or 105-mile semi-supported routes. Its post-ride party has music, a BBQ, and a beer & wine garden. During the BBQ, the ladies who completed the 200WomenRide200Miles challenge, completing hilly back-to-back centuries, are recognized and awarded with a swag-bag of goodies.
We have something for every skill level. If you like to ride, ride with us!
